A new video format

What if your video could tell you what each viewer was thinking?

It stops for the viewer to choose, answer or try something in the picture, and tells you what each person did.

Press any video to play it. The ones marked Interactive stop and wait for you.

The problem

Most video is a black box.

A video player counts who pressed play and when they left. It can't tell you what they understood, what they wanted, or why they left.

What we tell you

A student in class taps an answer on a paused biology lesson: an elephant, a mouse and three choices

The video stopped and asked

"An elephant and a mouse. What accounts for the difference?"

  • It is built from far more cells19
  • Its cells are each much larger11
  • Its cells live for much longer2

11 students think an elephant's cells are bigger than a mouse's. Start the next class there.

    Film learns to travel.

QuickTime packs picture and sound into one file, so a film can leave the studio and play on a computer. 2

  2. 2003

    One file for every screen.

MP4 becomes the standard. The same sealed file plays on your TV, your phone and your laptop. 2

    The web learns to listen.

Analytics make every click count. Marketing, sales and product rebuild themselves around it. 4

    Video still can't.

Three quarters of mobile traffic is video, and even short videos lose half their viewers. The file can't ask why. 1, 3

    We gave video its click.

Video that plays like a film and listens like a web page. Every viewer's choice comes back to you.

FAQ

Questions, answered.

What is Video++?

Video++ is our name for interactive video that reports back: it plays like a normal video, stops for the viewer to choose, answer or try something in the picture, and tells you what each viewer did. We make it from the content you already have: slide decks, documents, scripts, product pages and recordings.

How is this different from a quiz on top of a video?

Most interactive video tools pause the video and put a question card over it. In Video++ the interaction happens inside the scene: the viewer taps the hazard, drags the part or uses the real app, and the story continues from what they did.

Can I put the video on my own website?

Yes. Embed the player on any page, or share a link. Both report back to the same insights.

Do viewers need to install anything?

No. It opens from a link in any modern browser, on phones, tablets and laptops.

Where do I see the engagement data?

In your dashboard, per video and per viewer: how far each person watched, what they paused, skipped or replayed, and everything they touched, chose, answered or typed. Viewers stay anonymous unless you send them a personal link. Results can also be sent to your learning system as xAPI statements.

Can I still post it on LinkedIn or YouTube?

Yes. Post a short teaser natively and link to the interactive version for the full experience and the answers. Every video also comes with an MP4 up to 4K for platforms that only take files, and captions built from the narration.

Do you make it, or do we?

Either. We produce it for you, or your team uses the platform to make its own.
